Chollacott House Nursing Home

This nursing home accommodates up to 42 older people, with 29 residents at the time of inspection. The service provides personal and nursing care in one adapted building.

Inspectors found that care records did not always reflect people's actual care and health needs. Some residents were not consistently treated in ways that promoted their dignity, and social care needs were not being adequately addressed. There were prolonged periods where people lacked meaningful engagement with staff. However, staff demonstrated understanding of safeguarding concerns and knew how to escalate issues appropriately.
