Cedars Place Care Home

Cedars Place Care Home provides personal care to up to 63 people in a large two-storey building with a secure garden. Two units include local authority bridging beds for people transitioning from hospital to home or permanent care. At inspection, 55 people were using the service, with seven having nursing needs.

People and relatives spoke highly of the care and leadership, praising the home's exceptional person-centred approach to maximising quality of life and independence. The leadership team and staff actively sought opportunities to support residents and had built strong links with local communities, enabling people to lead fulfilling lives. Staff worked effectively with health professionals to support people's wellbeing, with professionals noting the positive impact the home had on residents' health. The service supported people to have maximum choice and control while using the least restrictive practices. Risk assessments and safeguarding systems were in place to protect people from harm.
