Carlton Road

Carlton Road provides accommodation with personal care for up to nine people who live with autism across two adjoining houses in a residential area of Worksop. At inspection, all nine places were occupied. Residents felt safe and were cared for by a knowledgeable, experienced staff team who understood how to keep them from harm and abuse. Staff ensured people received medicines on time and supported them with nutritional needs and access to health services when required.

The service supported residents to have maximum choice and control in their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches possible. Staff were kind and treated people with dignity and respect, understanding individual preferences and encouraging independence. Residents were supported to make their own choices, with care delivered in line with their wishes and needs.
