Carleen Nursing and Residential Care Home

Carleen Nursing and Residential Care Home provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 40 people, including those with nursing needs and dementia. At the time of inspection, 35 people were living at the service. People told inspectors they were happy with the care they received and felt safe. Staff were suitably trained and supported people to take their medicines safely and as prescribed.

The home maintained up-to-date records of risks to people's wellbeing and environmental safety, updating these when circumstances changed. Staff respected people's rights to make their own decisions and supported them to make choices in line with relevant legislation.
