Tudor Lodge Nursing Home

Tudor Lodge accommodates up to 82 older people, including those living with dementia, with seven designated beds for end of life care. The home is spread across two floors with lift access and includes communal lounge and dining areas, an accessible garden, and outdoor space. At the time of inspection, 63 people were living at the service.

Inspectors found strong infection control practices throughout the home. Policies and procedures were thorough and up to date, with staff receiving relevant training and consistently adhering to good practice around personal protective equipment. The service had arrangements in place for relatives and external professionals to visit safely, and measures were established for isolation, zoning, and cohorting if needed. Appropriate infection prevention and control arrangements, including a designated policy, were specifically implemented for people receiving end of life care.
