Caritate Nursing Home

Caritate Nursing Home supports up to 24 people of all ages with various health needs, physical disabilities and cognitive impairment. At inspection, 22 people were using the service. The registered manager had recently left, and the provider was recruiting a replacement whilst managing the service with support from a deputy manager.

The home had made significant improvements in medicines management. Assessment recording and monitoring of medicine stocks were now effective, particularly for people who self-administer their own medicines. People received regular reviews to ensure they remained safe to do so. All nursing staff had completed medicine update training since the last inspection. Staff supervision and appraisals were accurately recorded and closely monitored, and the management of risk had improved overall.
