Camber Lodge

Camber Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to eight people with learning disabilities in an adapted house. At inspection, seven people were living at the service. Staff demonstrated safe support practices, with risk assessments guiding care for individual needs. The home was well-maintained with appropriate safety checks in place, and people received their medicines when needed. The service employed sufficient staff who had been safely recruited and understood safeguarding procedures and people's individual requirements.

People were listened to and supported to exercise choice and control over their lives. Staff were described as kind and caring, helping people eat and drink according to their preferences while encouraging healthy choices. Residents appeared relaxed and comfortable, engaging positively with staff and forming trusting relationships with them.
