Byng House

Byng House provides personal and nursing care to up to 37 people, currently supporting 24 residents. The service cares for adults living with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. It offers 23 intermediate care places supported by local NHS rehabilitation services, alongside respite and permanent placements.

Medicines are managed safely, with staff competently administering prescribed medications. Staff have access to information about managing identified risks and supporting people safely. Health and safety environment checks are carried out. The registered manager analyses accidents and incidents and maintains oversight of the service. The manager has begun implementing recommendations to strengthen governance processes and improve documentation of safety checks and incident findings to better identify themes and trends.
