Buttercup House Care Home

Buttercup House Care Home provides accommodation with personal care for up to 20 older people living with dementia or other mental health needs across two modernised residential properties. The provider has demonstrated good practice in maintaining family connections, implementing measures that enabled safe visits during restrictions. These included a temporary marquee in the garden during summer months, window visits for people unable to leave the building, and video conferences for families unable to visit in person. Plans were in place to use an outbuilding for winter visits with appropriate PPE, distancing, and cleaning protocols to ensure continued safe contact between residents and their loved ones.
