Bush Rest Home

Bush Rest Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 44 older people, including some living with dementia, and younger adults. At the time of the assessment, 31 people were living there. The CQC found the service rated Requires Improvement overall, with weaknesses in governance and safety continuing from a previous inspection.

Inspectors found that oversight of risks was inconsistent, incidents were not always reviewed or reported, care plans lacked detail on risks, and staffing levels were not always sufficient. However, the home was clean, medicines were managed safely, and people described staff as kind and person-centred. People said they would welcome more activities and outings.
