Bush Rest Home

Bush Rest Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 44 residents aged 65 and over. At the time of inspection, 33 people were receiving care at the service.

Some care records lacked sufficient detail about actions staff should take to keep people safe and to ensure compliance with the Mental Capacity Act, though the registered manager was addressing this. Residents felt the management team were approachable and described the service as well led. People had opportunities to provide feedback on their care experience.

Previous inspections identified shortfalls in the management of care delivery, including gaps in staff understanding of risk and regulatory requirements, and care and risk plans that lacked essential detail about how staff should respond to identified concerns.
