Burnham Lodge

Burnham Lodge provides accommodation, nursing and personal care to people living with dementia, mental health needs, sensory needs and physical disabilities, supporting 43 people at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall, having previously found breaches relating to safe care, safeguarding, governance and notifications. Inspectors found these issues resolved, with a clean, well maintained environment and safe staffing and risk management, though some care documentation lacked person-centred detail.

Staff were found to deliver exceptionally kind and respectful care, with people and relatives describing them as compassionate and trustworthy. People had good access to activities and healthcare support, and felt listened to, though feedback on staffing levels and call bell response times was mixed.
