Buckingham Lodge

Buckingham Lodge accommodates up to 64 people across three floors, with a current occupancy of 30 residents. The purpose-built home supports older people and those with dementia, with the ground floor unit specializing in dementia care and the first floor providing both residential and dementia care. Facilities include lounges, kitchenettes, dining areas, bathrooms, a cinema room, hairdressers, and a family room.

Residents and their relatives reported general satisfaction with care, noting improvements in staffing levels and communication. One resident commented, "I am happy living here, the carers are all very nice and always very helpful," while a family member said, "I am really pleased with Buckingham Lodge and can't speak highly enough of mum's care, it is second to none and the carers are all good." Some concerns remained regarding inconsistencies due to agency staffing and access to activities.

Staff demonstrated awareness of residents' risks and provided appropriate support. The home had systems in place to safeguard people and protect them from harm.
