Buchanan Court

Buchanan Court is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care to 49 residents aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 80 people across three floors. The service also offers six short-term reablement beds for people recovering from operations before returning home. Residents' experience of the service was positive, with effective systems in place to protect them from harm and abuse. Staff had been recruited safely and provided person-centred care tailored to individual needs.

The service maintained strong coordination with external professionals to ensure residents received comprehensive, joined-up care. Infection control processes were robust, with clear systems to reduce the risk of infection and cross contamination.
