Birchwood Grange Nursing Home

Residents reported feeling safe and confident they could raise concerns with staff or managers. Staff demonstrated good understanding of safeguarding procedures and felt supported by the registered manager to report any disclosures.

The service maintained high standards of cleanliness and infection control practices. Trained and competent staff safely administered medicines to residents. Care plans provided detailed guidance to ensure staff supported people appropriately for their individual needs. Throughout the inspection, inspectors observed kind and respectful interactions between staff and residents, with people being treated with dignity. The service employed sufficient staff who were trained to meet residents' needs.
