Broughton Lodge

This residential service provides personal care for up to 18 older people, some living with dementia, in an adapted building with individual bedrooms, communal spaces and an accessible outdoor area. At inspection, 16 people were using the service.

Residents reported feeling safe with the care and support they received. However, inspectors identified significant shortfalls in the management of people's risks and quality assurance systems that placed residents at increased risk of harm. The monitoring systems in place failed to identify and address these gaps in safety and service quality.
