Brookview Nursing Home

Brookview Nursing Home provides accommodation and care for up to 60 adults requiring nursing or personal care, including those with dementia or physical disabilities. At inspection, 33 people were using the service, with 13 receiving nursing care.

Inspectors found significant concerns with the home's governance systems, which were not effective in consistently ensuring quality and safety of people's care. Management, communication, decision-making and accountability for care were not fully assured. The premises and equipment were not always kept clean, secure, properly used and maintained.
