Brighton and Hove Bethesda Home

Brighton & Hove Bethesda Home provides personal care to up to 22 older people, including those with age-related frailties and dementia. Residents must be members of or regular attendees at Gospel Standard Churches. At inspection, 12 people were using the service. Residents reported feeling safe and happy, with one person stating, "Yes I do feel safe because of the staff and the residents, I like all of them." Staff had received safeguarding training and understood how to prevent and report abuse, with confidence in the registered manager's response to concerns.

Medicines were managed by trained and competent staff. The home maintained high standards of cleanliness and infection control, with a relative commenting, "The home is lovely and clean." Staff assessed and managed people's health risks safely, and those requiring moving and positioning equipment received support in line with their care plans.
