Bridgewell House

Bright Futures Care Ltd comprises two self-contained houses accommodating up to eight people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. At inspection, five people lived in one house and three in the other. The environment was clean and hygienic, with appropriate infection prevention measures and adequate personal protective equipment in place. Staff managed risk effectively while enabling people to take positive risks as part of independent living. People were protected from abuse and harm, with staff understanding their safeguarding responsibilities.

Family members expressed trust in staff and confidence that their relatives were kept safe. Medicines were stored securely and administered on time. The service had processes for recording, reporting and learning from accidents and incidents. The registered manager promoted a person-centred and inclusive culture throughout the homes.
