Heath Lodge

Heath Lodge provides care and accommodation for up to eight adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex needs. At the time of inspection, six people were living there. Residents and their relatives described their experience as very positive, consistently praising staff for their kindness and supportive approach. People reported enjoying activities and events they had been supported to participate in.

Staff were well trained across various topics relevant to their roles, with strong knowledge of safeguarding and medication management. People were supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. The provider committed to reviewing their practices against best practice guidance to further strengthen how they reflect principles of person-centred support for people with learning disabilities and autism.
