Bracebridge Court

Bracebridge Court is a residential care home providing personal care to older and younger adults, including people living with cognitive impairment or physical disability. It was caring for 56 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding sufficient staffing, safe recruitment practices, and warm, respectful relationships between staff and residents, alongside a varied programme of activities.

Inspectors found some shortfalls in medicines management, including handling of patches and temperature-sensitive medicines, which the provider addressed during the assessment. Food and drinks in communal areas were not always labelled for hygiene purposes. Quality checks had not always identified these issues, though people and relatives generally felt confident in the care provided and knew how to raise concerns.
