Bowden Lodge is a care home providing personal care and support to people with mental health conditions, with capacity for up to 16 people. At the time of the CQC assessment, 12 people were living there, with two more transitioning into permanent places.

Inspectors found a service performing very well overall, rated good, with well-led rated outstanding. Leaders were described as passionate and motivated, staffing levels and training were strong, medicines were managed safely, and care was person-centred with regular reviews. People and relatives spoke overwhelmingly positively about the care, feeling safe, involved and well understood by staff.
