Blossom Hill Care Home

Blossom Hill Care Centre provides personal and nursing care to up to 40 older people, including those living with dementia. People and relatives gave positive feedback about the care provided, reporting they felt safe. Staff knew how to report concerns and felt confident doing so, with safeguarding referrals, incidents and accidents properly investigated. Health and safety checks were completed regularly to maintain a safe environment, and the home was clean throughout.

The service had enough staff to meet people's needs, with new recruits selected safely. People received their medicines on time and were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. The home used a structured approach to quality assurance to identify areas for improvement.
