Inspectors found the home to be visibly clean and hygienic with regular cleaning schedules in place. The home maintained an up to date infection prevention and control policy and had good supplies of PPE available throughout, with staff consistently following guidance on its use. The manager conducted spot checks to ensure staff adhered to hand hygiene and PPE protocols, and arranged regular COVID-19 testing for residents and staff. Visits from friends and relatives were facilitated safely.
