Bescot Lodge Care Home

Bescot Lodge provides residential care and accommodation for up to 26 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, the service was supporting 25 residents.

The home's oversight systems were not always effective in monitoring quality and safety, failing to identify areas requiring improvement. Medicines were not always stored safely and stock records were inaccurate. However, safeguarding and whistleblowing systems were effective in keeping people safe. Staff recruitment processes were safe, and a sufficient number of staff were available to meet residents' needs and preferences.
