The Shrubbery accommodates up to 28 older people, with 22 residents living there at the time of inspection. The home has adapted menus to support people recovering from COVID-19, offering items like pastries with butter and jam at breakfast to help those regain their appetite and manage weight appropriately following the virus. Staff have implemented infection control measures by assigning dedicated staff members to support those who tested positive for COVID-19, ensuring these staff members have no contact with other residents or access to the kitchen to help prevent the spread of infection.
