About Berkeley Court

Berkeley Court is a residential care home in Leeds, offering accommodation and personal care to older people, including some living with dementia. The findings below set out what CQC inspectors observed during their most recent visit.

Berkeley Court is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 74 people, some of whom are living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall, following an inspection prompted by concerns about falls. Inspectors found staff were knowledgeable, kind and respectful, and that people were safeguarded appropriately.

Some risk assessment records were not always accurate, though these were updated promptly after feedback. People and relatives spoke positively about staff and felt involved in care decisions. The home was found to support people's independence, preferences and access to care without unnecessary barriers.
