The provider had established clear visiting procedures aligned with government guidance, requiring visitors to show negative COVID-19 tests before entry. Professional visitors were required to provide evidence of vaccination and negative lateral flow tests. Infection prevention measures were well-implemented throughout the home, with clear signage, accessible hand sanitising stations, and staff who regularly used PPE appropriately following training. Regular testing access enabled the home to identify and respond to a COVID-19 outbreak. The home was visibly clean and well-maintained, with a planned redecoration programme underway to ensure high presentation standards.
