Belmont Road

This service provides accommodation and personal care for up to 13 people with learning and physical disabilities. At the time of inspection, all 13 places were occupied. The service had maintained strong infection control practices throughout the pandemic, with staff receiving regular training in hand hygiene, PPE use, and safe procedures. Daily temperature checks, readily available hand washing facilities, and appropriate protective equipment were in place. All staff wore PPE when assisting people with personal care, and the registered manager conducted regular visual checks to ensure standards were maintained. The service had contingency plans for isolation and cohort care if needed, with regular staff meetings held to discuss updated guidance and best practice.
