Beeches Care Home (Nottingham)

Beeches care home provides personal and nursing care to 27 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. The two-storey home can accommodate up to 54 people, with nursing support residents housed primarily upstairs. People are kept safe through thorough risk assessments and reduction measures. Medicines are managed safely following the introduction of a new electronic system, and robust infection control procedures protect residents from infection.

Care plans are person-centred with residents involved in planning their own care. The home is undergoing refurbishment with residents consulted on décor choices, including calmer designs and clearer signage to aid navigation. Staff support residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible, with policies and systems in place to uphold this practice. A new manager has recently taken post and is being inducted with support from the current registered manager, ensuring consistent oversight.
