Beaumont Manor

Beaumont Manor is a residential care home providing nursing care to older adults, including people living with dementia, mental health needs, physical disabilities or sensory impairments. It can support up to 82 people. Following a responsive assessment prompted by concerns, the CQC found a breach of regulation relating to medicines management and risk assessments, and rated the home Requires Improvement overall.

Inspectors found people felt safe and were treated with dignity by kind, caring staff. However, care records did not always reflect the quality of care being delivered, and the service had lacked consistent leadership. A new management team was in place and improvements were underway, though these still needed to be embedded and sustained.
