Beacon House

Beacon House provides residential and nursing care for up to 40 older people, including those living with dementia or physical disabilities. Accommodation is spread across three floors with lounges, a dining room and an accessible garden. At the time of the assessment, 22 people were using the service.

The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found improvements had been made to risk assessments, wound care, and safe management of "as needed" medicines, alongside stronger quality audits. People and relatives spoke positively about kind, attentive staff, feeling safe, and having enough consistent support to meet their needs.
