Beach View

Beach View is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 25 older and younger adults, including those with physical disabilities. The large period property spans several floors with lift access throughout. During inspection, the service was undergoing comprehensive refurbishment, and with residents having left the service, new admissions had paused. Six people were residing there at the time of inspection.

Environmental risks posed by the building work had not been fully assessed and mitigated, though the registered manager began addressing these issues immediately following inspection. The service maintained adequate staffing levels with safe recruitment practices in place. Staff demonstrated understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
