Avon Court

Avon Court provides accommodation and personal care for up to 48 older people living with dementia across three floors. The home shares a café and communal activities area with the neighbouring Bourne House, together forming Avonbourne Care Centre. At inspection, 36 people were using the service.

Relatives felt people were safe and cared for. Staff interacted with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, and people appeared content and comfortable in their presence. Systems to record incidents and manage risks had been implemented effectively, with staff recording detailed information about incidents that was reviewed by the management team.
