Autumn Grange Nursing Home

Autumn Grange provides personal and nursing care to up to 54 older people, those living with dementia, and younger adults across two floors with communal spaces for dining, activities and relaxation. At inspection, 47 people were using the service. The home has safeguarding systems in place to protect people from abuse, with staff understanding procedures for raising concerns. Risks to people are identified and managed appropriately, and staffing levels are adequate to meet people's needs safely.

Medicines are managed safely and people receive their prescribed medication as directed. Staff have appropriate knowledge and skills to support people effectively, with people's needs regularly assessed. The home supports people to maintain a healthy diet with weights monitored to ensure nutritional needs are met. Pre-employment checks are completed for all staff recruited to the service.
