Atlantis Care Home

This residential care home provides personal and nursing care for up to 20 older people, supporting those with physical and mental health needs, including people living with dementia. The adapted building is situated in a rural area. At inspection, the home was at full capacity with 20 residents.

Residents reported feeling happy and safe, with one person stating the staff "have really looked after me and made me feel at home. " A relative praised the home as "absolutely fantastic," noting positive feedback from others. Staff demonstrated caring approaches, spending time in meaningful interactions with residents throughout the home.

The service supports people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive practices in their best interests. A designated activities staff member facilitates social interaction for residents. Staff have completed appropriate induction, training, and supervision, and are recruited in sufficient numbers to meet people's needs.
