Ashwood Place is a purpose-built eight-bedroom bungalow providing personal care to people with learning disabilities and autistic people. Each resident has their own bedroom, with some ensuite facilities and shared bathrooms available, along with communal lounge, dining room, kitchen and garden areas. Eight people were living at the home during the inspection.

Staff followed current government guidance to support isolating residents safely and ensure they received required care. Risk assessments were in place to reduce COVID-19 transmission risks, and the service adhered to local health protection team guidance for implementing temporary restrictions.
