Ashurst Park Care Home

Ashurst Park Care Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 53 older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia and those with physical adaptive needs. At inspection, 35 residents were living there, mostly older people with dementia.

Residents reported feeling safe and valued the staff. One person said, "The staff are good to me and I like them." Relatives were consistently positive about the care provided. One family member noted that staff had successfully healed pressure sores their relative developed in hospital and encouraged proper nutrition by providing special foods. Staff demonstrated attentiveness to residents' wellbeing, with even the cleaning team noticing when something was wrong.
