About Ashring House

Ashring House is a residential care home in East Sussex, providing personal care for people with learning disabilities and, or autism. The findings below set out the CQC's most recent assessment of the service.

Ashring House provides personal care for up to six people with learning disabilities and, or autism. Following a review triggered by concerns about safe care, the CQC rated the home Good, unchanged from its previous inspection.

Inspectors found a positive, open culture where staff managed risks well, medicines were handled safely and the premises were clean and well maintained. Although a new management team had recently taken over after a difficult period, staff and families reported improved communication and confidence to raise concerns, and people appeared happy and relaxed with kind, attentive staff.
