Ashill Lodge Care Home provides residential and dementia care for up to 35 people. The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall, having previously placed it in Special Measures, which it has now exited as it is no longer rated inadequate in any area.

Inspectors found ongoing breaches around safe care and governance, including gaps in risk assessments for choking, skin integrity and modified diets, plus weaknesses in protecting personal information. However, medicines were managed well, meals were nutritious, and people and relatives described staff as kind, attentive and consistent, with care described as person centred despite these shortfalls.
