Appletree Grange

Appletree Grange is a care home providing personal care to up to 32 older people, some of whom have dementia. At the time of inspection, 30 people were using the service, accommodated across two floors.

The home had taken some actions to address gaps between its visiting policy and government guidance, though these measures were not always robustly explored and documented. People received safe care with systems in place to safeguard them from harm and abuse. Risk assessments supported people to be as independent as possible, and staff demonstrated awareness of their safeguarding responsibilities.
