Ancasta Grove

Ancasta Grove, in Hampshire, provides accommodation with nursing care for up to 75 people, with 65 people using the service at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found people's needs were fully assessed, risks well managed, and staff had the right skills to keep people safe.

People and relatives described a warm, friendly atmosphere and felt safe, well cared for and involved in decisions about their care. Some improvements were needed in medicines management and quality assurance processes, and the management team responded positively to this feedback. Staff morale had improved under new management, and a varied activities programme supported community involvement.
