Alsley Lodge

Alsley Lodge is a residential care home in Lancashire supporting up to 33 older people. Inspectors rated the service Outstanding overall, finding that previous breaches around person-centred care, safe care and treatment, and governance had all been resolved, with stronger risk management, staffing, medicines systems and health monitoring now in place.

The CQC found staff treated people exceptionally well, with excellent understanding of individual needs, backgrounds and end of life wishes. Families praised the friendly, compassionate culture and consistent staff team, and described feeling confident their relatives were safe, well cared for and supported to maintain their independence.
