Allonsfield House

Allonsfield House is a residential nursing care home in an adapted building, providing accommodation and personal care for up to 53 older people, including those living with dementia, frailty or mental health conditions. The CQC rated the home good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating.

Inspectors found people were treated kindly and involved in decisions about their care, with enough safely recruited staff who understood risks and managed medicines well. Activities and community links had improved, and the registered manager was praised for a visible, supportive style. Governance and oversight had also strengthened, helping address previous shortfalls.
