Allison House

Allison House provides nursing and personal care for up to 40 people living with dementia. The home has systems in place to protect residents from abuse and harm, with staff trained in safeguarding. Risks are assessed and managed, and incidents, accidents, and safeguarding concerns are recorded. Medicines are administered safely and health and safety checks are conducted regularly. The home ensures people have adequate nutrition and drink, with access to specialist equipment to support independence.

The home previously had gaps in recruitment record keeping, though the registered manager located all missing documentation and confirmed appropriate checks had been completed. The provider has since engaged an external recruitment agency to strengthen this process.
