Allerton Park Care Centre

Allerton Park Care Centre, in Bradford, is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 50 people, including those living with dementia or mental health needs. The CQC rated the home Good overall, a significant improvement following a previous "Inadequate" rating and a period in special measures. Inspectors found earlier breaches relating to safe care, medicines management, consent and governance had all been resolved.

People told inspectors they felt safe, well cared for and involved in planning their care, with staff described as kind and knowledgeable. Medicines were managed safely, staffing levels were adequate, and the environment was being improved through an ongoing refurbishment plan. Some people said they felt bored at times, and this feedback was shared with the registered manager.
