Alexandra Way Residential Care Home

Alexandra Way provides accommodation and personal care for up to 43 people in single-storey accommodation. At inspection, 25 people were living in the home. The service had implemented clear Covid-19 safety procedures, including lateral flow testing for visitors, contact details collection for track and trace, and designated changing facilities where staff changed into clean uniforms at the start of each shift. Visitors were guided via the most direct routes through the home. People continued to receive prompt medical attention when unwell, and relationships with health professionals remained strong. The vaccination programme for both residents and staff had been well received, with the registered manager providing support to staff members who had concerns about the vaccine.
