Albury House

Albury House is a small, family run care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 12 older people, some living with dementia. At the time of assessment, 8 people were receiving personal care. The CQC assessed the home after receiving concerns about care, night staffing and management, and after issuing a previous warning notice, but found no evidence people had been placed at risk.

Inspectors found the provider had met legal requirements and improved to an overall rating of good. Staff were described as kind, stable and knowledgeable about safeguarding, with sufficient numbers on duty day and night. People and relatives praised the food, personalised care and good communication with management.
