Aire View Care Home

Aire View Care Home provides support to older people living with dementia and those with physical disabilities. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding that risks around skin integrity, personal hygiene, and nutrition and hydration were not always properly managed, and that these gaps had not been picked up through the service's own audits.

Care plans were not always person-centred, and governance and accountability were found lacking, with some people feeling unable to speak up confidently. Inspectors did find medicines were managed safely, infection control was handled well, and lessons were learned after incidents. Many residents said they felt safe and well cared for.
