Agincourt Care Home

Agincourt Care Home accommodates up to 31 people over 50 years old with dementia and mental health care needs across two floors. At inspection, 28 residents were living there. Staff understood the risks residents faced and safely managed and monitored these through accessible risk assessments and care plans. The home maintained sufficient staffing levels to meet residents' needs and keep them safe, with deployment reviewed as needs changed.

People received care from staff who knew them well and treated them with respect, compassion and dignity. Residents were supported to have choice and control over their lives. Where best interests decisions had been made, staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible, with policies and systems in place to support this practice. Inspectors found improvements had been made in the quality of care people received.
