The home is designed to support choice, independence and community inclusion, enabling residents to live as ordinary a life as any citizen. Staff encourage residents' participation in local community activities and support their autonomy in daily decisions. However, inspectors found a deterioration in safety practices since the previous inspection in February 2016, resulting in a 'requires improvement' rating for this area, despite the overall service maintaining a 'good' rating. The home continues to provide accommodation with personal care as a single package.
